As we all know LinkedIn is a great work tool to grow great connections, to build credibility in your expert field, but also to reach out and learn stuff-cool stuff.
A great way to explore what is available is to have a gander through the groups to see if there are any that you think might be worth joining.
One tactic that I employ is to view someone’s profile that I think is authentic, trustworthy and credible.
Once I’ve identified my target I then look at some of the groups that he/she is a member of. This is particularly useful if I believe that our profiles have some correlation.
One group that I’ve used for quite some time is Australian Risk Advisers. What I love about this group is that it is a hive of activity. People reach out and post questions and other members help out by giving balanced and concise replies. Sometimes it gets heated but that makes for good reading hey?
Got a group that you want to share?
Let me know what groups you like so that I can check out some new ones.
